Does anybody know a good way to remove green star polyps? Any advice on how to do this without killing them?

just find a loose coner and start peeling. They are almost indestructable.

Hmmmmm...I must not be very good at it because I think I was tearing them. The problem is that they are on one of my base rocks and theres no way I can take it out of the tank. When I was trying to remove them they we're emitting some sort of substance that briefly clouded the water, it was almost like a little ink or something. Could this harm the other corals? Thanks for the help.

It isn't a problem, unless you let the small torn pieces go. Then you may end up with a lot more stars than you bargained for. I haven't noticed the secretions to cause any problem.
