Has anyone had any experience with these? I found these was looking thru their catalog and found them pretty interesting. The only downfall that I can see is the constant cleaning. but here is the link.

The name of the brand is Ocean Currents. Marine Depot also carries them and a full line of accessories for them. I have never seen one in action, but always wondered how they would compare to something like the SQWD. I could also never figure out if the water flow into the unit powered the ocillating mechanism or if it had an electric motor like a Sea Swirl.

I have not heard many good things about them ... based on a search I did on RC. Many people run Sea Swirls and are very happy with them. Problem is they are really pricey. I just hooked up a Red Sea Wavemaster and am very happy. I have heard they have problems with outlets burning out, but the 1 year warranty helps.

Somebody did a comparison of wave generating devices in one of the online mags, and these got a lousy review. They use water pressure to operate and consequently lose a lot of flow.
