June MAAST Meeting - Host Needed

We will be havng a meeting on either Saturday, June 28 or Sunday, June 29. This will be a social get together and frag swap. We need a San Antonio person to volunteer their home for this event. Any takers? If so, please let me know.

We also need some volunteers both in and out of SA for holding future meetings. If you are interested in hosting a future meeting at your house, please e-mail me using the e-mail button at the bottom of this post!

I'm with Andrew on this one, I have the unfortunate fate of working on Saturdays. If all fails and its on a Saturday, I guess I could develop a sudden illness.

Unfortunately, we have some folks that go to church, so early Sundays is always out. Sunday could be no earlier than 1 or 2 pm.

I live in Pleasanton which is about 30 miles south of San Antonio.

My house could be used for a meeting or two if need be. I have a large back yard with a large two teared deck.

Just PM me if MAAST ever needs another meeting place.

WE have an airport but it is a small one. Unless you bring your own jet. I will email MAThueson and see if he wants to have the swap in Pleasanton.

I have an airconditioned garage\workshop large open area and I have plenty of picnic benchs. Have to move the Harley out though.

What are you taking to Houston this weekend. Wife says NO BUYING but you know how that goes. We are having a pretty good week on eBay so I think I can weasle some purchases.

I need a Squimosa and any leather or soft coral frags. Kinda got into leathers and Softies lately while waiting to finish my Clam tank.

I am bringing some door prizes for MARSH. Another clam tank donated by me and Hellolights sent me two metal hadile XM bulbs for door prizes!
I am also bringing my family we are staying overnight somewhere. I have two squamosas both are about 9 inches!!!!!! I am really looking forward to this meeting (MAAST & MARSH clubs)!

Initially, the idea was to have one in SA this time since the last one was in Austin (Jim) and next one would be in CC. But, as of yet we have had a few wonderful Austin offers and in Pleasanton, but no SA. One SA person had mentioned possibly hosting, but needed to check with the wife and was getting back to me tomorrow (Friday). I was just waiting for that....

Would you be looking at Sat or Sun if the meeting was at your place, Trae?

I will gladly volunteer my house for June frag swap, :D However I am still not sure on the exact date though. I should know on Monday. I will keep everyone up to date with any changes that might occur.

OK. The next meeting will be at Trae's House on Sunday, June 29 at 2:00 pm. Trae lives in Pleasanton, so he is just a quick jaunt out of SA. I will start a new thread with the address and a map. Please look for it in the coming days.

This meeting will be a FRAG SWAP!!! Time to start chopping on those overgrown corals!
