Hmm...lemme see if these links work.

I've got about 25 more, but they are about 1.2 meg each.

To keep from clogging up those with dial up access, here are
links to all pix.

Great pics Steve. I'm going to resize them and add them to our official gallery if you don't mind.

Dial-up users will be able to see them all after that as well. ;)

Hope everyone had fun!

EDIT: Here (http://www.maast.org/modules.php?set_albumName=album08&op=modload&name= gallery&file=index&include=view_album.php) we go guys. Sorry Steve but I had to delete the image you had showing... it was pretty big even for me (and i'm on cable). :P

Wow great pictures guys. I am on cable and it was much better having them re-sized. I can't imagine the dial-ups. I guess I know who to send my pictures to now when they are too big.

I could have probably used a html code to resize them, but after I got home, the cold I am coming down with started to hit me hard, and I got a tad lazy.

I had a good time. I'll be bring the wife and kids along next visit.

I had a great time! I grew enought this last year so I was able to go on some of the rides! I know my Dad also had a great time---but he is still sleeping this morning! (I think I wore him out!)

P.S. My favorite part was the sharks!

Had a great time @ SeaWorld. Very interesting to see their setups. Of course, my favorite part was seeing both my husband & stepson getting splashed by "Una" the killer whale. Kinda made my day, if ya know what I mean? :rotf:

Like everyone else, I had lots of fun. The main display tank with all the fish in it was awesome, and they had some nice FAT tangs in there. The jellyfish tank was cool too, as I havnt seen that a done anywhere before. The surge device on the gorgonian/LPS tank was pretty cool too watching the water level drop 1-2" and then gets surged back up. I think one of my favorite parts was getting to touch the rays dolphins and sharks, as they dont feel like they look like they should IMHO. It was also nice knowing that SeaWorld has tanken in some "disadvantaged" animals(shark with the funky mouth, the ray with no tail, the alligator with half a tail...) as in the wild, these animals probably wouldnt be around anymore.

For those who didnt stay for the whole day, you should have. All the lines were short, there was no waiting on any rollercoasters(unless you wanted the very front seat) and they let you stay on for another ride or two if you wanted.

Very good trip. Wish we could have had more time in the main reef exhibit. Every time I turned and looked at the main tank I would see something new! The behind the tank view was cool although I guess I didn't get in far enough to see the surge device they were using. Would have been nice to talk to someone from their water maintainence department to find out how their filtration and water handling systems work. Especially how they keep all that water in Shamu's tank at 55 degrees in the Texas heat.

Hey, did anyone hear what they do with all those dolphin and sting ray babies? I didn't think about it till afterwards, but I would think they would run out of room to keep them. Just curious if they release them to the wild or not. Also, did any of the guys hanging around at the end after the tour talk them into taking you to the "upstairs" area with the coral growth tanks and clownfish spawing? Seemed kind of strange a big outfit like Sea World was working on something small like clownfish reproduction.

Hehe, was worth the admission just to see Misty get soaked by the killer whale. Of course I had to stop laughing after that crazy whale came around the next time and splashed me too! That water was nice and cold! :-D
