I recently saw a picture of a Xenia that was nearly all Bluee (trunk base arms the whole thing) I didnt catch the name of it but was interested to see if anyone has anything other than Brown Elongata(sp) and White Pom-Poms (sp)?

I would like to trade or buy a frag from you?
thanks,
chuck

:)
The pic that I saw was a colony of total blue not just the tip Xenia..
If I get the name from the LFS I will post it. I am trying to get a collection of various xenia types. So far I have the Elongata and Pom-Pom.

i would like to get my hands on some! from what i've been told, xenia doesn't ship well, and its determined by avialiblity. so far i haven't seen any in any lfs, and i don't know anybody that has any to frag out.

cesptularia is the species name for blue xenia. colors range from blue-white, red and green.

Not really. It was its natural color. The lighting did not enhance it. The photo was taken as the xenia was lifted out of the ocean. The color was more of a genuine blue. This one looks like straight blue light pic....
