Just got a new nano made by Red Sea and one of its companies, Azoo. It appears to be a either a gallon or maybe smaller, came with a small power filter and a 7 watt P.C. lamp...kinda cool and just came available, Texas Tropical sells them for $29.99 may be cheaper elsewhere...Pics are available on my Image gallery...I bought a blue one but they are also available in Yellow, Green, Red, Purple, and Clear, T.T. only has blue though (for now).

Looks cool, but just curious.......What is going to live in such a tiny tank?

if you look at my image gallery between the two plants i have a similiar one that red sea or azoo puts out. tank volume a little less then a gallon and the light is a 13 watt pc. circulation is by aq. system micro jet pump. i've had it set-up since Dec. with no maint. done since i've set it up, live rock & clam (jim would appreciate that)serves as its main filtration as well as grape caulerpa. i just have to top it off every few days and clean the algae off the front glass.
inhabitants are: tiny blueleg crab; redleg crab; scarlet crab; (2)nassarius snails; (2)sm. zooanthid rocks(orange&yellow); green polyps; 1.5"gold maxima. also had a yellow watchman goby & squamosa clam but they started to grow too much so they both have a new home now with chris. i'll probably add a blue maxima in the near future and probably a harlequin or sexy shrimp as well, but no fish just inverts.
the gold clam has shown some growth since his introduction, but of course i'm power feeding him with jims food so he might have to go as well. the coral & clam diet jim sells is great if you have clams make sure and get a bottle and no he's not paying me to endorse his product. when it comes to all knew products i'm kind of leary so i like to try them out for myself before i recommend them to anyone.

I've got a 2 gallon Hex setup with a 19W 6500K spiral bulb from HD, and a whisper Powerfilter for a 10g rigged on it, and a few small pieces of live rock. Im getting lots of algae, but im also lazy on water changes and stuff, in this one. Oh, and its got a little piece of troys Xenia in it, and a single polyp. . I think with better upkeep,it would be a nice little tank though.
Mainly I set it up to keep my yellow watchman till I figure out what im going to do with it, it got beat up in my main tank(not sure by who), to the point it was almost dead. He is all good and healthy now though....
Good luck on your nano, with half the water of mine, all I can say it, have fun....cs
