I had a frag that had some grass like marcoalgae growing from it a while back. And now I can;t get rid of this stuff without physically pulling it out of the frag, the glass that it attached to and other rocks. Is there another way to get rid of this completely without affecting my corals.

I looked around and found that it is green hair algae. This is a link to the closest picture I could find. The way this person got rid of them is by getting a sea hare. Is there another way? http://saltaquarium.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.janetsreef.com%2 Fsea_hare.htm

You could try an emerald crab or two. I had some, and when the emeralds found it, it was gone in about a week or so. They are also supposedly good for bubble algae.

A letuce nudibranch will take care of it in short order but may starve after it's all gone. My emeralds eat it but in the one tank it's goten established in they can't keep up with it.
Adding a fuge and growing macroalgaes or growing some in your main tank may help too - get another species established that can outcompete it for nutrients.
