What brands of heaters are you guys using?

I have a Marineland heater that I paid too much for a few months back at a LFS when it was getting pretty cold here in S.A. I have it in my sump and it got a lot of coraline algae and junk on it for awhile but I cleaned it up last month. Now it stays on no matter what the temp is in the tank causing it to get too warm.

Any recommendations? Not that I will need heater now that it is getting warm again, but would like to know for the future.

I use a EBo Jager heater. never had a problem w/it. I have heard that some people have problems w/their heaters staying on because of radio interference. I doubt this is the problem w/yours though.

Ebo jager is about the best for the money IME. I was looking at one of those won heaters for my mantis tank - they have no glass correct? mantis shrimp will attack the red light on glass heaters zapping whole tank.

I use EBO. Tried the won pro, works great for rock tanks, but I had a problem with 2 of them staying on and had to trash them.

I have both Ebo and Won Pro, they are both working fine. Given the choice, I would feel safer using the Ebo. What I don't like about the Ebo Jager is that they're too long. If you have a long sump, I would go w/ Ebo.
