I have had a palm leather in my 55 gallon tank approximately 4 weeks
it has failed to come out for 2 or 3 days about every 2 days since i bought it but this time its trunk or stem has shrunken and it is not standing up as it has always done! Should I remove it from my tank so it will not contaminate system, all tests appear to be good, what could-should I do , will appreciate any help

Stan can you tell us about your tank?

What type of flow do you have going around the leather? Any additives that you're using?

Leathers do very well under medium to high flow.
