I got the new clown today!!!

Hey everyone I got the clown today, well I got a smaller clown from aqua dome for $14.99 and the other clown and it look like they like both the clowns will do great and I took out he clarkii and put him in the 10g cuz the new clown is too small, about an inch a little bit smaller, how long till the mit mate I head at least 4 months but not sure, :-D how long do I have to wait :-D

Glad to hear you got the clown you were looking for. I love my percula clowns. They seem to get more personality as time goes on. As far as mating goes, I'm not sure. May take some time and may never happen. Some clowns will go through mating rituals but never actually have offspring. I think you will just have to wait and see what happens ;)

I have had clowns mate up from day one to a year, and as Cap said sometimes they never pair up. Generally, in my experience, they will pair up in less than 2 months. I love clowns. They do get better with age. The two maroon clowns I have seem to know me. They will eat out of my hand and will actually push at my finger when I put it in the tank. Very social fish.
