Man do I feel like the fish nerd. everyone else has one or two and I weigh in with 7! In my defense a lot of the tanks (most are pretty small and not high maintenance). The bluespot I just got after seeing him in partners the other day and will be going in either the 46 or 75 eventually, maybe even the 18 but I don't want him kicking sand all over my corals. The LTA will end up moving before long I'm sure too if he stays healthy and growing - just the longspine kept bashing into him and making him uproot and float around tank.

*75 Gal FOWLR (for now) - 30gal sump / fuge filled with mangroves, tunze 215 skimmer, mag return pump, 50 lbs LR , Niger Trigger, 2x Coral Catfish, Regal Tang

*7 Gal Minibow 32w pc Aquaclear Mini, rio ph , Purple LTA, 1 true percula, 10 lbs LR.

*6 Gal Eclipse 5 lbs LR, 1 Blue Spotted Jawfish

*20 Gal Acrylic Hex , magnum HOT filter - 5 lbs LR, 1 Peacock mantis and an indestructible domino damsel.

*18 gal tall - the Penalty Box / LR curing-holding tank : contains all kinds of angry crabs and hitchiker crustaceans other people didn't want and a few that went nuts in my reef tanks. I like to call it the crustacean version of the Manson family.

Ok so someone please say they have more tanks than me so I don't feel like the total dork :?

Jeez man... Where do you work??? I need a job that pays the money to have 7 tanks... I'm gonna have to get a second job for just my 1 55 gal. Holy smokes man...LOL...

Do you have a website so we can see "what you got"???

I'm not rich , I work 40+ hours a week as a network administrator(thurs, fri, saturday, sunday evenings blah) plus take about 10-12 credits of school every semester (can't decide between archaeology or marine biology as a major). Between school and work I do a lot of my stuff on the cheap with the tanks - buying used etc. I mix up about 30 gallons of new salt water at a time and that lasts me about 3-4 weeks on water changes plus going through RO/DI water (cheap). I kept freshwater tanks for about 8 years and saltwater tanks previously for about 2 years as a kid/teenager before getting out of the hobby when I discovered the joys of women and booze :) Tanks are a cheaper hobby currently than the aforementioned ones - heck I don't even own a TV (traded it to Vinh for aquarium stuff :P ) I just plop down on the couch and zone out watching my reef!

I'm weighing in at 8 Tanks.

720
200
180
150
75
75
40
20

I'm trying to skim down to 4 tanks since it's a PITA to maintain them, and that's with the 720 & 200 being down.

heck I don't even own a TV (traded it to Vinh for aquarium stuff )

Now I can look at my tank, surf the web, listen to the radio, and watch two TV's at the same time.

I only have one tank. I'm pretty good with self control. Yeah right!

3 marine tanks, 1 FW tank in the bedroom. Already sold 3 of my other tanks because maintenance was beginning to become a PITA.

i really like those blue spotted jawfish to, they are cool man. i had one a few weeks ago but i sold it, i wanted to keep it so bad but i didn't have a place to put him. i might have to do what techno did and put him in a sm. tank by himself so i can order another one, or try to get a pair going. its so easy to accumulate tanks because there are so many cool things out there.
