Which is better VHO,PC,or MH

Ok which kind of lights are better or produce more light,last longer and
dose not mess with the temp. :flamer: i've been reading about each one :read: but I have never use one of these before I have a 20w floresent blub in my 10g and I wanted to know wich is better. :withstupid2:

It's really a matter of what you ultimately want to keep. I would err on the side of more light if you have the money but on that small a tank I think PCs would be your best bet. MH lamps you might do ok if you could get a 70watt at the right temperature but they do put out more heat and cooling/evaporation will be a big pain in a tank that size. I run VHO on my 46 gallon and PC on my 18 gallon nano. Decide ahead of time what you want to keep and if you are going to be upgrading and can reuse these lamps since you take a beating selling anything used (usually). Figure out the livestock first then work from that angle.

Just depends on what your goals are with your tank. Are you looking at FO, Reef? If reef, do you want soft or hard corals? Do you want to do clams? These things will determine the lighting type needed.

Well the lighting is for a 37g tank thats going to be a reeftank,
I plan to have soft and maybe hard coral the tank is only 4 days old so I just want some input I mit be buying a light seting from vinh if I asked first. but I wanted to see whats best and cuz I'll still need more light
