View Full Version : Planning ahead

Just so the peoples running the meeting can adequately plan ahead:

Who's going to the meeting on Sunday, January the 19th? How many peoples will you bring with you? Who's going to pay to do the corals order from Tim Marvin?

Anyone have extra sticker name tags so we can learn each other's name? I can barely remember my own name, so a sticker with my own name on my own shirt would help out a lot.
True Story: Yesterday at school, we had a round the classroom self introduction. Well, I told the whole class that my name is Enrique. A bunch of peoples busted out laughing. How embarassing, I hope that they know that I'm joking around.

Anything else that you think we should cover at this meeting?

I am coming to the meeting and bringing myself. I have some name tags that I can bring. I am paying Tim at the meeting for the coral workshop (I've let him know). I am also bringing extra cash just in case someone brings awesome stuff to sell.

I'll be there with my girlfriend. I don't have a reef setup yet only fish tanks therefore I cannot participate in the frag swap but I would like to learn more about reefkeeping since I plan on setting one up.

I'll be there. I'll be bringing me, myself, and I. And of course my wallet! :-D

I did not get in on the frag deal with Tim, but hoping to maybe pick up a few frags while I'm there. I will also be bringing my tiger striped sea serpant star hoping to trade it to Tim or anyone else that is interested in him. Hopefully Tim catches his Midas Blenny for me :D

Good idea for everyone to bring a bucket and maybe some plastic baggies and rubberbands if they are getting stuff.

I'll definately be there.

Not (planning on)taking home any frags  but i'm sure it'll be fun. I'm finally started to feel better from being sick so I might get to finish the plumbing for my tank this weekend!

Hi all, I will be attending with my other half as well as up to (possibly) 3 other reef friends.

I am paying Tim for the workshop at the meeting as well as cash for an order I placed with Chris. :)

Moorish - I would love some of your halimeda. I have no macro algea in my tank as of yet and have been looking for some for quite some time.

I would also like to caravan with whomever else from Austin that is attending.

I'll be there for sure, and I might be able to talk my wife into comming.
I've already purchased 2 sps colonies from Tim, and might be interested in buying a few more frags while I am there.

I've also just recieved a shipment of med. sized Blue Legged Hermit Crabs that I can sell for .80 a piece, also Astae Snails. If anyone is interested.

Yes, please remember to bring buckets and extra freezer ziplock bags.

Unless it's for the frag demonstration, I would wait until you're home to mount the frags with crazy glues, or reef cement. No need to introduce extra chemicals into a small bag of water. Minh can show off on how to tie a frag down with fish line instead of using glues.
