I've just moved to San Antonio and find myself buying a new tank - new space is totally different, old tank much too small, of course. Last tank I set up, I borrowed a diamond bit from a buddy's store.

Does anyone have a glass drill bit / hole saw for a 1-1/2" hole or bigger? If you've just bought your own, I wouldn't mind helping you defray the cost of the bit, in order to borrow it and drill my tank and sump.

As an alternative, if anyone knows of a glass shop here in town that will either: 1) drill the tank for me; or 2) sell me a bit, please let me know.

Thanks,
Dean

If you take it to Alamo Aquatics they can have someone Drill it for you. I don't know how much they charge though.

FYI I got Binswanger to drill mine. They charged 10 bucks a hole. From what I understand it depends on who you talk to there hey have no set price on drilling but it was cheap and they did a nice job on it.
