i have a pair of clowns who i believe are spawning. what should i look for, how long before i have fry, & will they be eaten if i dont remove them? help. thanks

The large one, female will agressively defend the nest. The smaller male will also defend, but will not stray more than a couple inches from the eggs. He will guard them constantly, and fan them with his fins. Good luck with the fry; it is an advanced process to raise them. Far more work than I am willing to try.

Unless you want to go through the painstaking task of trying to raise them... just let them be and consider it free food for your tank.
If one survives without your help(I would doubt it, but not impossible) then consider yourself lucky!
