)I read an article about triggers & it said to feed them hard things to help file their teeth down. Does anyone this? I have a small Niger, should I start now or let it get bigger? What do you feed your Niger? I can't fill mine up. It acts like it hasn't ate in a week.

David have your mom pick up some shell fish and feed it to the trigger a couple times a month. Clams, crabs, shrimp (uncooked with the shell, or any type of shelled critters from the grocery store works fine. They seem to eat anything you put in. I have fed a small 2-3 inch trigger about 6 goldfish in one shot before. They will stop eating eventually but you don't have to feed them that much. A gold fish or two a day is fine. They also eat just about any small enough freshwater fish like guppies and so on. Just have mom get a few little things from the store. Maybe they will give her some scraps from the fish they clean. The clown will eat bones and all. I have even seen them eat bristle worms.

Probably, the refugium helped export nutrients so the snails coulds keep up! Great! The teeth on the triggers are a lot less of a problem than on the puffers. Triggers move around rocks also which grind the teeth.

My Undulated trigger like to bite & move my LR around. You can hear the click, click, click noise from the tank due to the trigger.
