What do you think?

Can you ever have to many in your tank? Is one more than you want? Have you found any good asian cooking tips? :P

I also have tons of them. I think they have a place, but I remove them when they get larger than 4 inch.

When I first started my reef all the books stated they were bad, but in recent times there seems to be a change in opinions. I haven't seen the ones in my tank go for anythng but dead ghost shrimp or when I feed the fish and corals.

i agree with tim about the larger ones,, smaller slow moving fish or sick fish can become quick meals over night,

I had some green feather dusters who's home was being chewed through by these guys. The bristle worms finally got the feather dusters, and I have been trying to evict them all. Only one so far, about 20 more to go, all of them well over a foot!

If you notice 20 then you have thousands. These critters are like cockroaches. To get rid of them use: Triggers, arrow crabs, and coral banded shrimp. There are probably a lot of other critters that will eat them but these are the ones I have used. They are actually benificial to your sand bed until they get in overwhelming populations. As I stated before, I remove them at 4 inch.

I had a fair sized population in my tank till I got a 6 line wrasse. When I go to feed the tank in the morning the little pig looks like he swallowed a golf ball and no bristle worms in sight.

I got tons. I saw one mama worm that is more than 2 feet long. I had a Nano tank that had a 2 feet worm that is completly black. It was too bad that my heater broke and fried that tank. That was how I found that black worm (his dead body that is). I lost a bunch of solf corals and a beautiful 3.5 inches male Peacock Mantis shrimp. He was a beauty.

I have only seen one in my tank and it was dead. I believe my pistol shrimps killed it.
