Hey, I found that The Tropical Fish Store sells Tenecor aquariums for 200-500 dollars less than the maker, plus free shipping for orders over 1500.oo dollars. So I think I am going to order my tank from them. My question is should I get a reef ready or a show tank and put the equipment in. Anybody have any opionions on Tenecors reef ready systems. I have been leaning to getting the Life reef sump. What do you guys think :fish1:

I would get a Reef Ready tank.
Tenecor is one of the top name in acrylic. I don't acrylic b/c they're easy to scratch. Sure you can buff them out, but that's going to take a lot of elbow grease, and backache. Kid like to bang their toys on the acrylic for some reason. Girls like to tap their long finger nails on my fish tank.

If there's any particular feature of the Tenecor filtration system that you like, Jeff at Lifereef can custom do it for you. Be prepared for a long line with to Lifereef to build stuff for you. I think they are planning on going up in price next year. Nice thing about custom Lifereef is that everything work together, and he give you a bunch of extra parts. That way, you don't have to spend long hour at the hardware store, trying to fit the plumbing together. Just give him the dimension to work with, and he custom make your system to that. If you're semi-serious about getting the Lifereef system, put your name down for an appointment NOW!
