Someone in the group(Misty?) mentioned that they have a bad problem w/ diatom bloom. They were using RO/DI, feed sparingly w/ frozen food, but still get a diatom bloom. You can try a Vortex Diatom Filter as your last resort. I think it's about $60 online. I'm sure there's some old timer in the club that still have a Diatom Filter laying around. I noticed that the Marineland 350 filter have the ability to be used w/ Diatom powder, but I don't know how well that brand work.
