i'll let you know when it comes in probably sometime next week. i'll be ordering about a dozen or so. i think awana pets did have some, but it was out of date. the stuff should have a shelf life of about 6 months, but the fresher the better. i've mainly been using phytoplex by kent which is good, but hopefully i will see a difference in using the live version judging from all the praises and good reviews it gets.

In May 2002 I bought a bottle of refrigerated DT from the fish store. I didn't know it until five months later, but the expiration on the bottle is due to expire in June 2002.

Is the expiration date six month after I opened the bottle, or does it just expired on the expiration date?
Make sure to check the expiration date b4 you purchase from a fish store.

i believe it expires on the date given on the bottle. you could probably use it after it expires, but the nutritional value would probably be the same as using the kent phytoplex. i was going to culture my own but at this time it's easier for me to just buy it.
