I like ERI because they have just about any type of livestock you may want from hermits to sharks.

Tim , can you get my Salifert test kits through them???

Tim Marvin

I can get your test kits, but Champion lighting usually has a pretty good deal on them. You won't have to pay sales tax and they are small to ship.

Sure, I mean if you only want hermits I bet someone will sell them for dirt cheap, but if you want good livestock and reasonable prices ERI has a huge selection of good quality livestock. Cheapest isn't always the best. If you are buying 3-4 items per person they will make out the same. Yeh maybe the hermits cost a dollar but the queen angel will cost them $70 for a large you tell me.......FFExpress will sell you a large Queen for $119

I've already been there Josh. You can scrounge around trying to find the cheapest or you can go with a good reputable company. Someone that will back the supply NO questions asked. If you want to get really cheap you can tranship, but you'd better have a couple thousand in reserves for the big loss. You can get stuff really cheap that way, but you'll have to place $1000. order. Then you'll need roughly 600 gallons in tanks to house it all.

I have run this for Austin Reef Keepers and am extending it for this group also. Someone will need to pick it up on delivery day though. I'm not sure if Ray or Joshua have accounts with ORA, but they have some really good stuff. If one of your locals have an account maybe they can do it for you! Again, ORA is TOP Notch for quality. Premium acro frags will knock your eyes out for color, not really big, but they also hold the colors!

I am going to do a Holiday special order exclusively for club members!
I will get anything ORA farms sells at cost for you! You will have to
pay tax and shipping, but save $$$$$$$$$$$ on top notch stuff! You
must also take delivery the day of shipment. I will not hold items
for you and assume any risk. Remember this will be AT COST! ORA is a
leader in the industry for farmed livestock. If you snooze you will
certainly LOOSE on this deal! Payment must be made in advance and
refunded IF any DOA's are reported. DOA's must be reported within 24
hours.

I am thinking a week or two. I want to give everyone a chance to see this post.
For those of you that don't know what they have here is a link:

They were among the first to captive breed clowns, and probably the only company mass producing them. I buy from them occasionally, as they are some what limited, but they have the best livestock I have ever bought. The best in my book meaning: Fattest, healthiest, and great color. They are not the cheapest or the largest frags, but at wholesale prices, DEFINATELY worth the money! Check out the site to see if you are interested in anything.

Fighting conch are $3 each, and ultra max are $36 for 2 1/2 inch. Plus tax and shipping. So just add a couple dollars for that much. So around $44 for both.

The 3 inch ultra is $44, 3 1/2 inch $55, 4 inch $90, too bad we missed the DEC special they had 5-6 inch ultra's for $99 That would be a $200 clam at the LFS or more....

i have an account set up with them also, but i just haven't had too many calls for clowns right now. some of there frags are a bit pricey especially the soft corals, but clowns are top notch and fat. i've kinda of wanted to do an order just to see how there clams really look like though curious to see if they're really ultra or not. do they have a current december special.

I only have the November right now. The Premium acro frags are out of this world. Some of the best I have seen. If you want to do the order for them down there I'd be happy to just do the order up here. That way you guys won't have to make the trip up here. If not I'd still be happy to order.

i don't know how it's in austin, but i don't think the group here will have enough for a minimum order i could be wrong i know alot of people were looking for fighting conchs you can't beat $2.50ea. by you combining both groups you for sure can get the minimum i forgot if it's $200 or $300 so you won't have to order too much extra for yourself. i plan to order from my regular vendor right before x-mas also so my extra capital will be tied up right now not to mention x-mas presents.

Queens are $2.25 the fighting are $3.00 unless we can get 25 then they are $2.50. I think the minimum is $300, but I usually get at least that much anyway. I love the acros.
