I have ordered livestock and dry goods from these guys well over a dozen times in the past year or two and I have to tell you that their service and the condition of what I ordered have both been consistently exceptional. And I'm not particularly easy to please. Nuff said, I guess.
Here's the address if you haven't checked them out already: http://www.ffexpress.com/index.html

I'll second this one. I've ordered small livestock from them twice before and have been most pleased. The shipping materials were excellent.

I order the reef clean up guys from here pretty often. They have always been good and have never hassled me about dead guys, even if I let them know towards the end of the guar. Never asked for dead to be sent back or water samples like the web site says.

FFE mistakenly sent me a $100 power compact retrofit kit rather than the $40 one I ordered. No complaints from me! 8)

When I order equipment, I usually spend over $1,000 and they always take good care of me. I did order some float valves once and they sent the whole shutoff valve kits for RO units. Of course they only charged me for the float valve since that is what I ordered.

Disregard Tim's blatent self promotion. (Though, I understand he has some redeeming qualities. He's into critters, for example.)

Not my address silly. I don't buy equipment that much anymore and I am not a retail store. I only do this for fun out of my home. I don't advertise either. I actually have a web page that I do very little with and don't get any business from it. Sorry you miss understood my post. I'm not bashing FFexpress just saying you can do better. FFexpress is buying from most of the wholesalers in LA so why not get it directly from the supply. There are a couple guys in the club that can take care of you at lower prices. I would be happy to but you have a couple locals down there that can purchase most things for you, and you wouldn't have to worry about picking it up. I must be a fairly decent guy though or people wouldn't drive all the way up here. ERI's address is:

I got some of their Walt Smith Fiji live rock a few months ago. They had a special on 45lbs. for like $99 + shipping. When I ordered my rock online, I got a confirmation email very quickly. Since I ordered it late in the week hoping to get a Saturday delivery, they were already out and was quickly notified. I was told they would get some more in on Mondy and could ship it out asap or when it was convenient for me. Great customer service. The rock I got was great. After a short period of time, I was seeing all kinds of critters coming out from it and lots of macroalgae. It's has turned a nice purple with some red velvet looking areas and the small branches of macro have now turned into a forest! I used the rock to cycle my tank and to seed my sand bed and it has been great. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.
I have also ordered from Marine Depot, Premium Aquatics, Dr. Fosters/Smith (PetsWarehouse), Hello Lights, and recently from Reef Fanatic.com and Lifereef.com. No real problems with any of them.

Sorry, Tim, I saw your signature with your site address and thought that was the response. Now that I look back I see you thought I was asking about Champion. Mea culpa.

Like I said they get it from the same places we do so if you can get it cheaper from them go for it. It is the same rock, nobody has a secret supplier it is just how you handle the stuff when you get it. A lot of stores buy the cheapest rock though, so you don't see the good stuff unless it is $8-$10 a lbs. at the LFS.

That is cool Joe. How are the mangroves doing? Starting to develop roots? They should sprout leaves in 3-4 weeks. As long as they stay green they are fine. If not let me know and I'll get something to you...... I consider you guys and gals friends more than customers so if you ever have a problem let me know.
