Ok I got the Reef Octopus SRO3000 in and installed it and its not even broke in an pulling crud in 10 min lol. The size difference is crazy as the SRO is way skinnier than the skimz and a hair taller. Time will tell which skimz the most. Check it out guys

Klwheat and FarmerTy what sump water level do yíall run you SRO in? I have seen on every online site that sells these that they should be in 6Ē of water but my skimmer came with a paper saying 7.9Ē to 8.7 so should I run with what the paper says and not whatís online?

Default New Planet Aquarium 190g tank

A little update to my 190g, I added a Clearwater algae scrubber to the tank and dropped the bio pellets and gfo. The ats has been on my tank now for 3 weeks and Iíve started seeing some growth on the screen and noticed the algae in the display start to fade a little. Iím also seeing a little more coriline algae growth than before. As it sits now Iím sitting at 0.13 phos and 20 to 40 on nitrates. Should be interesting to see how well this ats will work to reduce these down to. Iíll have to adjust the amount of hours per day and night to find the balance to keep a little nitrate and phos in the tank and to be stable. I was instructed to run the ats 24/7 until it grows in and then reduce hrs as needed. Itís going to be months until the ats is fully operational and running strong. After it grows out I will be scraping the screen every 7 days. Iím excited and canít wait to see some lower numbers. Does anyone else have experience with an ats and is using one now? Iíll add some pictures here in a few.
